Favorite as a host plant to the Monarch Bufferfly Caterpillar. Does best in full sun, but it will tolerate part shade as it does in my garden. This is one of the last perennials to break the soil surface in the spring, so be careful when cultivating your soil before these plants emerge. Height to 24" with a spread of 15". Zones 3-9.
